8th Grade Cal U Career Field Trip

The 8th grade CAL U career field trip was a success! The students learned about science-related career possibilities and had hands-on experience with native and nonindigenous tropical plants and animals. Many students had the opportunity to enter the cadaver lab and learn all about the human body and even hold a human heart. The students were able to draw upon previous knowledge in question and answer sessions with professors. California graduate Barry Bilitski spoke to the students about the ninth grade transition into the high school and the importance of their high school transcript. The students ended their day with a detailed tour of the campus.
